Sports (2011). A documentary about Alfonsas, a Deaf father from Lithuania who passes on the legacy of his years of basketball experience to his daughter. Alfonsas played the game for his country for nearly a decade, but when his son wasn’t interested in taking up the sport, he started to train his 12-year-old daughter Ruta instead. She shows off her medals and soon starts training with a hearing team, as well as her Deaf team. This film was directed by Ramas Rentelis as part of BSLBT’s Zoom short filmmaking scheme.
