Joining Ahmed in the studio is Oluwatofunmi Peace Adeosun, known as ‘Peace’. Peace is a photographer of Nigerian heritage. In the first of three films two Ethiopian women, Kibra Taye and Ayal Mesfin tell us about the history and symbolism of African headwraps, For our second film we’re in the "Unfiltered Deafpod," a space where two people share their experiences and openly discuss Deaf issues. For our final film, a much loved member of the Black Deaf community, Maresia Liburd-Spencer, the founder of Black Deaf UK, has been nominated for a makeover by our amazing team.
