Ofcom is the regulator for the communications services that we use daily, like TV, radio and broadband, making sure everything is running as it should and people get the best possible services.
It is now doing a consultation to find out how on-demand TV services – like All 4, ITV Hub or Amazon Prime, for example – should be made accessible to deaf and blind people.
The people at Ofcom would really like to know what you think! There is a BSL summary of the consultation here on its website; the full consultation document is here.
You can reply in BSL or English. The email address is vodaccessibility@ofcom.org.uk and the closing date for responses is 16th September 2020.
