We at BSLBT are delighted to announce that Philip Dodds is our new Drama Commissioner, replacing Charlie Swinbourne (thank you for a great three years, Charlie!).
Philip, who is the former series producer of Hollyoaks, is looking forward to nurturing more pathways to the industry for deaf talent. “BSL Zone has a real stable of talent on and off screen, and a desire to bring our brilliant stories to more of a mainstream audience,” he said.
Philip is passionate about advocating for deaf stories on screen because he has two deaf children. Welcome to Team BSLBT, Philip!
